OSKA Mattress Extension Block
Mattress expansion block for taller patients. Features 3 x straps to attach the extension block to the bed frame to avoid it falling out when elevating the head rest or profiling the bed. It is best practice to place it at the head of the bed, under the pillow. This way the block will not be under an individual’s heels thus compromising one of the most vulnerable parts of the body.
Directions for use
Place the mattress extension block under the head of your mattress, not under the foot section as this may comprise one of the most vulnerable parts of the body
2 way stretch cover
Cover made from a two way stretch vapour-permeable PU coated fabric
Hook and Loop fastening
Use the 3 hook and loop fastenings to attach the extension block to the bed frame to avoid it falling out when elevating the head rest or profiling the bed
Easy clean
Wipe off with cleaning agent, disinfect with alcohol based cleaning agent.
Machine wash max. 95°C.
Suitable for tumble drying.
