With its air bag technology within the seat cushion, leg rest and back cushion, the OSKA Oasis rise recliner chair is excellent for patients/residents at heightened risk of pressure problems, or those with pre-existing pressure ulcers.

Designed to provide the highest level of pressure relief, Oasis is ideal for conditions, such as Motor Neurone Disease and other neurological conditions, palliative and end of life illness and those with frailty of age.

Tilt-in-space split contoured air cushion back
Thoracic and lumber part of the back are supported by a 1-cell air bag, providing high level of pressure relief due to constant movement and repositioning of pressure.
Unique air bag construction used in the backrest, seat cushion and leg rest.
Split contoured back with Dacron fibre filled head cushion for easy adjustment.
Back cushion adaptability
The back cushions provide complete flexibility; each cushion can be separately removed and repositioned for the individual’s comfort.
In the fibre-filled head cushion, the padding levels can also be adjusted.
Easy to change covers on both back cushions.
Seat cushion adaptability
The seat cushion and chaise are combined. They can be removed for cleaning or replacement. The whole cover can be removed for replacement of the air cushions or the cover.
Simple to use handset with pocket on the RHS side of the chair.
Single motor tilt-in-space mechanism
Allows the leg rest to rise, slightly changing the seat angle, but always ensuring a constant back angle of 90º is maintained as the chair moves through to recline. This constant angle prevents back shearing.
Dual motor tilt-in-space mechanism
Offers a much wider range of sitting and resting positions as the back of the chair can be moved independently to the leg rest. The Tilt in Space mechanism also maintains a constant back angle of 90º as the chair reclines, preventing back shearing.
Manoeuvrability
The Oasis can be moved easily from one room to another to reduce the need for manual handling from care givers. This also negates the need to move a patient/resident at the end of life where any move can be painful and distressing.
