OSKA Tune
All-day comfort, excellent for palliative care, but is equally suited to conditions, such as Parkinson’s that require a chair which can be used as part of an intensive 24-hour care programme to reduce the risk of skin breakdown.
Tilt-in-space
Tilt-in-space allows the angle between hips, knees & ankles to stay the same while the chair is tilted backwards, preventing shearing to the back and bottom. Weight on ischial tuberosities is reduced, redistributing weight through the back.
Independent back rest recline
The backrest can be independently reclined providing a range of back angles allowing for optimal position for comfort. The angle range is 108 – 165 degrees.
The range of positions that this allows, coupled with the Independent leg rest adjustment, can include the Trendelenburg position.
Interchangeable/adjustable back & seat cushions
Choice of removable and adjustable back cushions to offer a range of pressure management and postural solutions. It enables changes to be made as a user’s condition alters or to adapt the chair for different users.
The OSKA Tune comes with an interchangeable seat cushion to give you a choice of a range of pressure management solutions.
Seat depth adjustment
Adjust the seat depth of the chair by fitting adjuster pads behind the back cushions using the Velcro strips.
Fully reclined & adjustable footplate (optional)
Independent back and leg rest allow a fully extended position, creating a comfortable lying position for patients. In this position the legs are elevated above the heart which helps with circulation. A height and angle adjustable footplate provides a range of support positions. The footplate can also be removed or flipped up to allow uninterrupted access with a hoist.
Independent leg rest adjustment
Leg rest is slightly longer to support good positioning of legs. Gentle profile shape to support legs from slipping from the leg rest. The leg rest angle can be changed independently, moving 90°degrees from the standard seating position.
