Lateral tilting
25° lateral tilting in both directions. A lack of movement in ICU patients can impair lung function or respiratory complications such as Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP), while also increasing risk of Hospital Acquired Pressure Ulcers (HAPUs). The bed can be tilted laterally using the foot switch, leaving nursing staff with both hands free to reposition patients.

The Sicuro Tera helps protect your team with an ergonomic waist-level working height (adjustable up to 84cm). By reducing strain, bending, and stress on joints, the Sicuro Tera actively supports long-term nurse wellbeing and a safer, more efficient care environment.
Patient weighing (optional)
The scales measure accurately to within 0.2kg. With a safe working load of 260kg, patients up to 250kg can be placed in the bed.
Reduce deconditioning & promote earlier mobilisation
Reducing deconditioning starts with movement. The Sicuro Tera supports earlier sitting, standing, and walking, helping patients regain strength and independence sooner. With adjustable height settings, lateral tilting and secure side rails for mobilisation support, each patient can safely enter and exit the bed, promoting greater confidence, quicker rehabilitation, and speedier discharge from ICU.
5th castor - small wheel, big impact
The central 5th castor acts as a pivot, giving smooth, straight tracking & easy navigation in tight spaces. Less effort for staff means fewer awkward pushes and pulls, reducing the risk of back, shoulder, & wrist injuries and protecting against musculoskeletal injuries. Small wheel, big impact ensuring hospital beds are easier & safer to handle in a demanding hospital.
Infection Prevention & Control (IPC)
Effective in the fight against multi-resistant pathogens. Energy-saving automatic reprocessing also saves time & frees up resources for other tasks.

Warranty

OSKA offers a 15-year extended warranty on bed frames. This is a no-quibble warranty, on the condition that an OSKA Premium Servicing Contract has been purchased, utilising approved manufacturer parts, and on the basis that the product is not subject to use beyond the manufacturer’s guidelines and normal wear and tear. If no Premium Servicing Contract is in place within the first year of purchase, the warranty will revert to the standard two years.
