OSKA Series4
The perfect high specification air and foam non-powered hybrid mattress, suitable for patients in medium to high risk of pressure ulcers.
With innovative technology and no pump, the mattress has intelligent self-adjusting air cells designed to reduce patient disorientation, resulting in more comfortable patients, alongside long term savings in electricity and maintenance costs.
The OSKA Series4 non-powered hybrid mattress is also available for rental.

Intelligent self adjusting technology
As a non-powered hybrid, silence is golden. The self-adjusting technology of the OSKA Series4 means the mattress offers a reactive immersive and enveloping surface suitable for patients in very high risk of pressure ulcers.
Microclimate management
The highly responsive Aerolite foam has microclimate properties which allows air to flow through the foam keeping the body cool and dry, important in preventing pressure ulcers from forming. The Aerolite foam makes up the top pressure relieving layer and Offloader feature found on the Series2 and Series4 mattresses.
Zero pressure heel Offloader
Protect vulnerable heels with the OSKA Offloader to suspend heels for ‘zero pressure’ making it suitable as an aid in the prevention and treatment of heel ulcers up to and including category 4. Similarly, a 'side offloader' can be implemented to offload or reposition patients in the lateral tilt position.
Welded seams & V-Guard technology
V-Guard technology mattress covers, with welded seams, have been developed to withstand the rigorous demands of healthcare environments. Offering ultra 4-way stretch for pressure relief, immersion and envelopment of the patient/resident. Washable cover to 95°C and suitable for tumble drying.
Fire evacuation base
In the event of a fire, protect patients/residents from pressure ulcer development. Simply use the mattress as an evacuation surface with our unique and innovative evacuation system - pull out the straps and secure your patient to the mattress using the Velcro fasteners. Handles are located on the head end of the mattress to allow you to move your patient safely.

With no clear algorithm or selection guide it can be difficult to know what mattress you should be selecting for your patients. To make this clear, OSKA has devised a system, the OSKA Selector, to help carers identify if the patient is on the correct mattress. For more information, click here.

Thank you for the trial of the Series4, I feel it went well. The patient trialling it has 2 unclassified pressure ulcers and very limited mobility. He was nursed in bed.The patient that trialled the mattress found it very comfortable. One of the unclassified ulcers is improving and the other is shrinking in size. He often declined repositioning which has led to trial the Series5 mattress, this should ease the process of repositioning.
