OSKA Series3 Advance

The Series3 Advance has been designed with both clinicians and decontamination teams in mind. Its integrated air cell cover system reduces the level of decontamination required, enabling rapid turnaround between patients. Both the top and bottom covers can be quickly removed and replaced with clean or new ones, without disconnecting any air cells or tubing. This allows the mattress to be returned to service immediately, strengthening infection control protocols while enhancing operational efficiency in the acute care environment.

The OSKA Series3 Advance mattress is also available for rental.

OSKA Series3 Advance Mattress valve
Quick connectors
Enable creation of bespoke zero pressure zones to offload pressure from vulnerable areas. They also allow rapid removal and replacement of damaged air cells, in less than one minute, with no effect on therapy.
Zoned cell deflation
Individual ‘zoned’ cell deflation is designed to offload vulnerable areas on the body enabling care givers to create individual 'zero pressure' cells under parts of the body most at risk of pressure damage. When ‘proning’ a patient, as well as offering an appropriate support surface solution, this feature provides flexibility to care givers when managing a patient’s head and airway.
CPR valve
The unique CPR push button can be quickly released when performing life-saving CPR. The mattress quickly deflates giving a hard surface to carry out the emergency procedure. Unlike other mattresses the push button prevents CPR tags conflicting with side-rails on profiling beds and deflating the mattress in error.
Infection prevention & control
The average mattress has 2000+ holes from regular sewn seams leading to ingress of bacteria. OSKA's ToughWeld welded seams are melted or welded together using high frequency vibrations meaning there are no holes or gaps for ingress of body fluid or contamination.
No bottoming out
The permanently inflated lower portion of each air cell reduces the risk of patients bottoming out during a power cut. ‘Quick connectors’ facilitate isolation and removal of damaged air cells without interrupting pressure area care therapy. This eliminates ‘down-time’ due to air cell damage and enhances efficiency by enabling individual air cell replacement in under a minute.
Reduce user error
With auto weighing function and alternating cycle settings, the Series3 Advance auto-weigh pump saves valuable nursing time and reduces the risk of user error. Static mode inflates all of the cells in the mattress to keep consistently inflated. Alternating pressure, alternates the inflation and deflation between the cells in an A/B pattern.
